Beach villas are near the shore and offer uninterrupted views of the Indian Ocean and setting sun. And yet, within the ambience of yesteryear, you'll discover a host of modern amenities such as satellite television, international direct-dial telephone, radio, electronic room safe, hairdryer, individually controlled air-conditioning and electrical shaving points (110/220 volts). All guest rooms have either two twin or one king size bed and offer 24 hour room service.
Land & Water Sports
Brilliantly-hued fish weaving through an underwater wonder world, the thrill of being airborne as you parasail across a sparkling lagoon, the exhilaration of waterskiing. Our resorts offer many ways to answer the call of the sea. And if you're still finding your water wings, don't worry: no previous experience in water sports is necessary. At all our hotels, you'll find quality instructors close at hand. And here's even better news: most of these sports are completely FREE for resort guests. So dive right in - you've got no excuse at all!
Water sports offered free include: Glass-bottomed boats, kayaks, laser sails, paddle boats, snorkeling, windsurfing, hobie cats (excluding Sugar Beach Resort and La Pirogue), sailing, canoeing, aquagym, water polo.
Available at an additional cost: Big banana rides, tube rides, sunset cruises, big-game fishing, parasailing, waterskiing, undersea walks.
Island diving with its breathtaking reefs and numerous wrecks, Mauritius is a diver's paradise that's perfect for beginners, as well as experienced divers. All resorts are PADI-certified with qualified instructors offering PADI open water courses and general tutoring daily. Don't forget: there's also our fabulous 'Superscuba' diving package that gives you discounted dives payable in rands before you depart on holiday.
